Almirón hot springs are in Paysandú, more precisely in Guichón.

These hot springs are fantastic because they are surrounded by the most beautiful nature, with native forests around them. A unique environment to rest. 

Almirón hot springs are characterized for being the only saltwater hot springs in the countries. You will also find freshwater swimming pools at around 42ºC.

Important Information: Almirón hot springs are open from 7am to 11pm in winter. During the summer, from 7am to 12am. The general rate is $50 Uruguayan pesos. Children under 11 don’t pay and residents only pay $35 Uruguayan pesos.

At Almirón hot springs you will find three saltwater swimming pools, three freshwater ones, coldwater swimming pools and two indoor heated swimming pools, ideal for those who come in winter. Definitely, a place to enjoy all year round.

Almirón Hot Springs Accommodation

Ouside the municipal ground there are many accommodation options for those who want to look for more options. 

If you are going to accommodate in the different places inside Almirón hot springs, we recommend booking in advance.

Camping site: there is a camping site on the Guayabo river shores. It is characterized for being a big ground with electric energy, hot water, barbecue and other amenities for its visitors. 

Municipal Motels: included in the price, are the municipal motels. They have a capacity of 4 people and they are equipped with cable tv, private bathroom and kitchen area.

Municipal Cabins: they are ideal for those travelling in large groups and needing a more comfortable place to rest. They are fitted with a kitchen, bathroom and barbecue area.

Soon, a four-star hotel, which is being built in Almirón hot springs, will be ready.
